Freeman Health System – Siloam Springs Medical Center, accredited by The Joint Commission, is a 42-bed facility featuring all private rooms and offers inpatient and outpatient care; emergency medicine; and medical, surgical, and intensive care services. With the addition of 3D mammography and upright biopsy technology, the hospital can provide detection of breast tumors and abnormalities at the earliest possible stages. And robotic-assisted total hip, knee and partial knee replacement uses real-time, patient-specific data to help orthopedic surgeons customize the placement of joint implants for patients.
In 2021, the Arkansas Institute for Performance Excellence awarded Freeman Health System the highest-level Governor’s Award for Performance Excellence. The award recognizes continuous quality improvement and is not presented every year. The hospital’s announcement noted that only 27 Arkansas organizations had received this highest-level award.
