Getting Ready for Your First Appointment

We’re excited to meet you and your child! To make sure everything goes smoothly, there are a few important documents we need you to bring. These help us confirm who can make decisions for your child and, if needed, determine eligibility for financial assistance.

What You’ll Need to Bring

1. Proof of Custody (Required for All Clients)
We must have documentation showing who has legal custody of your child:

Providing proof of residency helps us confirm eligibility for financial assistance programs. You can bring any one of these:

3. Government issued photo ID. (Parent or Guardian)

Why is this important?
Proof of custody is required for every client to ensure we follow legal guidelines. Proof of Missouri residency isn’t required for services, but it can help us connect you with financial assistance if needed.

Community Support Specialists ensure continuity of care and help overcome obstacles to services. They also provide community-based case management and person-centered treatment planning, as well as teaching, coaching and modeling of parenting techniques.

All services are age- and development-appropriate as well as responsive to an individual’s social/cultural situation and linguistic/communication needs.

Fees

Will’s Place services are covered under Missouri Medicaid, insurance, private pay and funding provided by Missouri Department of Mental Health.
